Administrative Law

Administrative law is the branch of law that deals with government decisions and how they affect the public.

When faced with a process or interaction with a governmental agency Gandall Law can help you determine if you would benefit from counsel and can represent you if warranted by your circumstances.

Most often, counsel is only required in industry-specific contexts or, in more general situations, if the matter has progressed to an appeal of a previous decision or an application for judicial review before the Supreme Court of British Columbia or Federal Court.

In the event that you  do require representation, Gandall Law can represent you before BC and Federal administrative tribunals, such as the Human Rights Tribunals (Federal & Provincial), the Employment Standards Tribunal, the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Tribunal, the Property Assessment Appeal Board, the Residential Tenancy Branch, the Passenger Transportation Board, the Canada Pension Plan Disability Benefits Appeals Tribunal and in Liquor License Contraventions.

Gandall Law will also act for regulated professions and licensed professionals in disciplinary and other matters.
